Dream Vlog 4 – Rosie Bans chats about Snow Globe and thoughts on Christmas Time!

Writer and performer Rosie Bans joins us this week to share her feelings on Snow Globe and Christmas time.

Snow Globe ran from 7th – 9th December in The Dream Machine and told the story of a Glasgow mother and her struggles at Christmas time.

Some of the things people have said about Snow Globe:

This is a shout-out to all those who are looking for a wintery-night out in Glasgow this evening! I would suggest heading to see ‘Snow Globe’ at The Dream Machine. A beautiful show created by Rosie Bans filled with stunning music and moving and thoughtful content. Thilo and I carried its core message all the way home last night… it packs a festive-punch and I highly recommend it.

Well done to Rosie Bans, Matt Lygate and The Space for supporting and sharing a genuine Christmas message ?✨? #kindness

On for another two nights and if tickets are still available for Saturday or Sunday… GO!

JUST GO!

Rosie Bans describes herself as a fiery ginger Weegie!

I’d describe her as a musical tour de force who packs a real punch with her sublime keyboard skills, beautiful voice, and lyrics that everyday people can truly identify with.

Usually a self confessed chatterbox between songs, what she so cleverly did here was link the songs, music and audio visuals with a narrative… A Christmas Story that we can all identify with.

I don’t want to give too much away here, but it is the story of a hard working single parent and her ten year old Son as Christmas approaches.

It deals with relationships, mental health issues, family dynamics, work stress, and what truly matters at Christmas.

Beautifully crafted and beautifully presented in a stunning little theatre room that holds just twenty very fortunate souls!

It is housed within a Community Café where nothing has a price… You pay what you can or feel is appropriate!

SnowGlobe by Rosie Bans lasts around an hour… But the effects of that hour will last a lot longer than any medication!

If you are free and there are tickets left, I cannot recommend it highly enough!

if you can get in to see this show, please do. Your soul will thank you ❄️???

So proud of this lady! Not only is she my pal, she is also one of my favourite artists – and I’ve just been to the opening night of her amazing new show, an immersive music driven alternative Christmas experience. I loved it – spellbinding and thought provoking, wrapped around Rosie’s powerhouse songwriting.  It’s on til Sunday night in Glasgow – please go along if you can, you’ll be so pleased you did. ❄️❄️ All the dets below ⬇️⬇️

Congratulations, Rosie Bans – you’ve  reminded me once again the power of true artistry ??

Rosie Bans show is like a hug, a genuine one, from someone  who really means it. There is nothing more beautiful than honesty and letting people into your snow globe.
